Up until recently the only Stila products I owned were their fab lip glosses. I loved them once, but, when your hair gets to a certain length that love turns to hate very quickly because theres nothing sexy or comfortable about walking around with half of your hair stuck to your lips! Not even Kylie Jenner could pull that one off!

I love matte eyeshadows, matte lipsticks are another favorite of mine, but I've found it hard to get a palette of matte eyeshadows that suits my needs. We've all been there we buy a palette because it looks so pretty and end up using 3 of the shadows in it. Its a pure waste so I've been holding out for perfection, for the one with colours so good that I will use every single one!

It's inevitable that the Stila MIND palette is going to be compared to the Urban Decay Naked Basics palettes. So heres how it measures up in my humble opinion. It kicks their asses! Stila have hit it out the park with this golden treasure! Its better than both Naked Basic palettes combined. Each Naked Basics palette has 6 eyeshadows, Stila's MIND palette has 12. The shades in the MIND palette are also much more diverse and versatile, they would work on all skin tones and can be used for soft subtle daytime looks as well as dramatic nightime looks I mean look at those amazing orange tones!! The packaging is obviously better as well but here's where it totally kills… the price! Stila's MIND palette is only €36!! Thats a bargain in my eyes for such a beautiful quality product. When you take into account that the Urban Decay Naked palettes are €30 its pretty much a no brainer for value as well!

So its barely 2 years old but Tinder has changed the way we date. Okay window shopping might be a more accurate term than dating for the mobile app but the reality is that if your single your on it! If you're not single you've definitely had a nosey and probably a good laugh swiping through your single friends feed. Its simple, its convenient and its entertaining! Its passed many a commute and who hasn't reset the distance and had a giggle with their friends at the profile of the guy sitting 2 tables away in Starbucks? Too creepy??

In the words of Alex Hitchinson "One chance is all we get" so make your first impression on Tinder a good one. Tinder is shallow at the best of times, you really have to put your best foot, or selfie forward if you want them to swipe right, more times than not this is not the case. So heres a list of the kind of guys you're bound to find on Tinder, ladies I'm sure you've encountered them all, guys please take note!



Guys with beards and lots of them! Seriously there's like an epidemic!


Group photo guy. As much as I like a game of Wheres Wally, Tinders not the place for it.


The guy with a cartoon or funny picture instead of an actual photo... Seriously!


The guy with the kids that arent his. If they aren't yours don't use photos of them in your Tinder profile, we can find out that your great with your nieces and nepews if this thing goes anywhere.


The guy with the mirror selfie that looks like hes never taken a photo before... Aw bless.

The guy with the photos of him and/or several ladies. Tell me she's your sister, your friend, your cousin or your ex. Actually don't cos i'm swiping left.

The Vietnam, South America traveller guy. Kudos, you've seen some of the world and you have bragging rights but if I want to see it I'll go there myself, so what else have you done?

The musician. If he plays guitar or drums you're gonna know about it.


The best man. He was his buddy's best man so he should be yours.


Dog guy. If your profile photo is a dog or dogs does that mean its your dog, you like dogs or you look like a dog…. lets be honest I'm not risking it!


The pilot. There's quite a few of these. Can you say On A Layover.


The blurry picture guy. See dog guy, i'm not taking that chance either.


Fishing guy. Wow you caught 2 big fish can you marry me now?!


Back of the head guy. You may as well just be no photo guy. Dude its Tinder!


One photo guy. Look im sure even Quasimodo had one good photo so pony up cos i'm not buying it.


Fake photo guy. Do you really think i don't know that's Channing Tatum!

Game Of Thrones Actress Walks In Fashion Week

Two of my favourite things came together yesterday in a fashion month highlight. Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie known walked the runway for Vivienne Westwood in Paris. The actress is currently filming for Game of Thrones and the new Star Wars movie but took to the runway with a very different look than Brienne of Tarth. Gwendoline's two looks shown above left her almost unrecognisable but then again so did her glamorous red carpet appearance at the SAG awards in January. Looks like Vivienne Westwood has been bitten by the Game Of Thrones bug too! Gwendoline's character Brienne would be right up the Dame's street an independent, strong woman. 

Thankfully Brienne of Tarth will be back on our screens next month. Does anyone else feel like its been forever since Tyrion killed his father on the toilet?

Boho Wedding Dresses from Saja Wedding

One of my favourite wedding dress designers is Saja Wedding. Based in New York, they're renowned for their gorgeous ethereal gowns, and their cute flagship shop is in seriously cool NoLita. On my wedding dress trip to New York, I tried on all their gowns, and each one is more stunning than the next. So when I spotted this fabulous shoot by one of my favourite photographers, Jose Villa, it was a shoe-in for a Before the Big Day blog post. Which dress would you pick? Other details I'm loving include the simple oak-leaf bouquet {fab for autumn brides}, the bright red lipstick teamed with peonies, and the unusual thistle bouquet. Stunning!
