A Fun-Loving Luxury Castle Wedding Shoot

So sorry for not blogging yesterday - it was my husband's birthday, and the day ran away with me! But to make up for it, I've got a brilliant fun-loving wedding shoot by a group of super-creative wedding professionals in Ireland. Shot in the idyllic Clontarf Castle, it's full of 2014 wedding trends, and super-luxe wedding details. I love the glittery ombre cake, sequinned cupcake toppers {the sequin trend is HUGE this year} and succulent bouquet. The 'bride' looks gorgeous in her three Sarah Foy wedding gowns {my favourite is the first off-the-shoulder look}, with Bridget Bardott-inspired hair styles. If you can't decide whether you want an up, or down-do for your wedding day, why not have both? Ask your hair stylist to create a pretty chignon for the ceremony, and to tell your bridesmaids which clips to remove for a more relaxed reception look. An Historic Castle Wedding with Rich Purple Detailing

If you've read this blog for a while, you'll know I get tearful every time I watch one of Deneemotion's incredible wedding videos. Denis creates these gorgeous trailers for his full-length videos, and they're the perfect taster to send your wedding guests after your big day. One of his recent couples, Stacey and Matt celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous Lympne Castle in Kent. I'm a complete sucker for an historic venue, and I love how Stacey chose a royal purple, as her signature colour - the shade suits the venue perfectly - and it happens to be Pantone's Colour of the Year for 2014! With elegant full-length bridesmaids gowns, fabulous Mischka Badgley shoes, and stunning orchid buttonholes to reflect Stacey's heritage - this lovely wedding is a lesson in elegant sophistication.

Real Vintage Marie Antoinette Wedding: Nicola & Marc

Today I've mostly fallen for the Marie Antoinette decadence of Nicola and Marc's vintage wedding at historic Swinton Park in North Yorkshire. Nicola chose a unique style for her big day, with a theme of pearls and lace, plus soft purple tones and plenty of sparkly jewellery. Her for-keeps bouquet is stunning, and a family heirloom in the making - brooch bouquets are a great way to include vintage or family jewellery, so everyone is 'represented' on your wedding day. Buy similar via Etsy. Other stealworthy details include Nicola's 20's-style pearl necklace, her stunning corseted wedding gown {how slim is her waist!}, and Marc's stylish suit {is that tartan?}. I also love the vintage reception props - the old suitcase table plan, the antique books and fan and the birdcage detailing in wedding stationery and wedding cake. Real Romantic Castle Wedding: Natasha & Chris

Combine a castle, a beautiful Grecian-style wedding dress, and classically English country-garden flowers, and you've got one very happy wedding blogger. I'm completely in love with the elegant style of this beautiful wedding, with its lovely bridesmaids dressed in dark blue, and flower girls in white. This was a seriously big wedding party! Gorgeous couple, Natasha and Chris chose Hedingham Castle in Essex for their wedding venue, and said their vows in a Norman keep built around 1140 {wow!}, before heading outside into the beautiful gardens for their wedding portraits. I'm loving the flowers girls' crowns {huge trend for this season}, Natasha's chic up-do, Chris' sharp three-piece suit, and the gorgeous, pastel delphinium table flowers.
