» So Sue Me!!
Posted by Weddings Dresses Ideas
I had another amazing weekend, this socializing’s a great thing i dunno why i ever gave it up! It all kicked off on Thursday night at The Morgan for the So Sue Me book launch. It was a great night! I met up with Filomena from Bellefbeauty (in the photos below), Nirina from Killer-Fashion and some other new bloggers and aspiring ones. We bumped into Paul from The Cosmetic Outlet what a gent, keep an eye out ladies his Madison make-up range is on the way soon. I have to say Suzanne is an inspiration to me. Her blog, the eponimous SoSueMe.ie, has grown and blossomed into an international brand and its all down to hard work and dedication. It really shows what you can achieve when you put your heart into it.
The event was flawless, even the cupcakes got the So Sue Me treatment! There was a photobooth there to take pics of you and as many of your friends as you could possibly fit into it, and I think we tried to break the record for the night! There were some emotional and inspiring speeches made by the lady herself and her family and publisher with the sweetest little dedication to her boyfriend at the end... Awwwww.
Obviously the book was on sale and needless to say i got a copy and I got it signed so I had a lovely little chat with Sue herself. She looked absolutely stunning on the night (as always) but I have to say this lady, because thats exactly what she is, is as beautiful to talk to as she is to look at, and no I don’t mean that in a creepy stalker way... She is friendly and sweet and full of encouragement and advice. She even left me a really sweet message in my book. It really was a pleasure to meet her.
As for the book, ladies you need to get it! And fellas you need to get it for your lady. Its the perfect stocking filler for Christmas! You are guaranteed to pull it out again and again for tips, tricks and inspiration and you even get a little insight into the life of Suzanne before SoSueMe began. So if you don’t feel like you know her from the blog you will feel like you do when you’ve read this. Its available in Easons but its sold out in Dublin already!!
Hope you like the pics from the night and for those of you who maybe haven’t heard of SoSueMe here are the links to her Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and her Blog.
Enjoy!
